Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL), located about 4 km from Tallinn city centre and approximately 130 km from Pärnu, is Estonia’s main air gateway, serving the majority of international passenger flights to and from the country. Tallinn Bus Station (Tallinna Bussijaam) is located about 2 km from Tallinn Airport and is easily accessible by public transport or taxi.
By Bus
The main public transport connecting Tallinn Airport with Tallinn city are the public buses operated by Aktsiaselts Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT). You can take a bus from the airport to the stop “Autobussijaam” (short walk to the station).
Bus No. 2 (stopping by Tartu mnt) runs between city centre and the airport. See the time table. The airport’s main bus stop is located at the northern (i.e. city) end of the passenger terminal, to which an escalator or elevator and walkway will bring you from the Arrivals area.
Bus No. 15 (stopping at the terminal) runs between city centre and the airport. See the time table. This bus stop is located in front of the car park right on Tartu highway and is a short walk from the terminal.
For a single trip, purchase a QR ticket online or from the ticket machine in the waiting area by the airport’s tram and bus stop. QR tickets are valid for one hour. Tickets for single trips can also be purchased by tapping a contactless bank card against the validator inside the front door of the bus and tram. Taxis are available right in front of the terminal.

Regular intercity buses connect Tallinn and Pärnu throughout the day, offering a fast and comfortable way to reach Pärnu. Buses to Pärnu depart from Tallinn Bus Station (Tallinna Bussijaam) and arrive at Pärnu Bus Station (Pärnu Bussijaam) in the city centre. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
Tickets can be purchased online at Lux Express (we recommend) or Passenger Express (TPilet) websites, or directly at the ticket counters and self-service machines at the bus station. Prices typically range from €7 to €12, depending on the time and bus operator. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance, especially during weekends or holidays.
Most buses offer free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and comfortable seating. Some operators also provide USB charging ports.

Riga International Airport (RIX) is well connected to the city centre, including Riga International Bus Station (Rīgas Starptautiskā Autoosta), located near the Central Market and Central Railway Station.
By Bus
The easiest way is to take Bus No. 22 from the airport to the city centre.
The airport bus stop is directly outside the arrivals area. Get off at the stop “Autoosta” (Bus Station), which is a short walk from the main terminal of the bus station. The ride takes 25–30 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the airport bus stop, from Narvesen kiosks, or via the mobile app “Rīgas Satiksme”. You can also buy a ticket from the bus driver, but it is slightly more expensive. A single ticket costs approximately €2.00 (cheaper if bought in advance).

Taxis are available at the official taxi rank just outside the terminal.

By Ride-hailing
Regular international buses connect Riga and Pärnu several times a day, offering a comfortable and efficient way to travel between the two cities. Buses to Pärnu depart from Riga International Bus Station (Rīgas Starptautiskā Autoosta), located in the city centre.
They arrive at Pärnu Bus Station (Pärnu Bussijaam), which is centrally located in Pärnu. The journey typically takes 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the operator and route.

Taxis are readily available at the bus station. The ride to any of the partner hotels takes about 3–8 minutes and costs approximately €2–€7 (The price is based on the Bolt taxi fare).
