Abstract submission

You are welcome to submit your research to the BALM 2026 Congress, taking place 14–16 May 2026 in Riga, Latvia.

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing your abstract.

Submission Guidelines

Language: English
Abstract length: Max 2,500 characters (incl. spaces; title and authors not counted)
Title length: Max 150 characters

Submission deadline: 27 February 2026

Required Structure

• Background / Introduction

• Methods

• Results

• Conclusion

Authors & Affiliations

• List authors as First name Surname.

• Use superscript numbers for affiliations.

• Indicate the presenting author.

Keywords

• Provide 3–5 keywords.

Originality

Abstracts must be original and not previously published or presented at another international event.

Review & Notification

All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
Notification of acceptance will be sent by 27 March 2026.

Presenter Registration

Accepted abstracts require at least one author to register by 1 April 2026 to be included in the programme.
