Computer program is implemented and used by breeding fish farms of the republic, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and RDE "Institute of Fisheries.

The information system is an interface for working with the database on pedigree horse breeding. The main users of the system are the staff of RUE "Scientific and Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Animal Husbandry" and GO "Belplemzhivocombinatsiya".

The computer program has the following features:

1. document management:

• cards - provides a table with the basic information about the horses, here is a menu for displaying the relevant information about the animal, such as card, breeding card, breeding use, exterior, appraisals, measurements, performance, movement, documents, sperm and milk production; also here is a line for filtering data by name, by breed, by owner, by sex and by group of use;
• boning - is a table with data on the results of animal boning, their scores and the final class of the animal;
• breeding use - it is a table of breeding sessions; it shows information on breeding sessions, when and between whom the sessions took place and their results
• workability - is a table with the results of sport tests that takes into account the quality and speed of movement under saddle and free;
• movement - is a table with movements of animals between groups or between organizations, including weaning, breeding and transfer to the main herd;
• sperm production - is a table evaluating the sperm production of stallions;
• documents - is a table listing various documents, such as the breeding passport of the animal, breeding certificate, genetic passport, and others;

2. dairy productivity:

• completed lactations record - is a table showing milk production by completed lactations; this displays the mare, lactation number, and milk figures;
• check milking records - is a table showing the mare's milk production on a specific date;

3. reports:

• breeding mare and stallion registry - presents an interface for setting report parameters and displaying them on the screen;
• the presence of a herd of foals and stallions - represents the interface for setting parameters of the report and its display on the screen, according to the parameters set;
• livestock availability by utilization group - provides an interface to set report parameters and display them on the screen, according to established parameters;
• pedigree certificate - provides an interface to set parameters of a pedigree certificate, it is possible to select an animal, a new owner (in case of pedigree sale) and to enter the body responsible for issuing a pedigree certificate;

4. competitions:

• show jumping - represents a table displaying the basic information on competitions of the show jumping type; when adding or changing a table entry, a window opens with entry of competition parameters and a table for adding participants and their results;
• dressage - is a table displaying the basic information on competitions of the dressage type; when adding or changing an entry in the table, a window opens with the entry of competition parameters and a table for adding competitors and their results;
• triathlon - is a table displaying basic information on competitions of the triathlon type; when adding or changing a table entry, a window opens with entry of competition parameters and a table for adding competitors and their results; triathlon includes dressage, cross-country and show jumping;

5. directories:

• ancestors - is a table containing a list of lines and families;
• breeds - is a table with a list of breeds;
• class of horses - is a table containing a list of possible classes awarded to horses after boning;
• suits - is a table containing a list of possible suits of horses;
• owners - is a table listing the organizations that own the horses;
• causes of semen culling - is a table listing the causes of semen culling;
• causes of movement - is a table listing possible causes of movement such as breeding, weaning, transfer to the main herd, mortality and others;
• outcomes of mating - is a table listing possible outcomes of mating such as dressage, abortion, procollapse, twins, and others;
• types of documents - is a table with a list of possible documents such as pedigree certificates, pedigree passports, etc;
• use groups - is a table containing a list of possible use groups such as young horses, main herd, sport horses, and others;
• competition venues - is a table listing the hippodromes where competitions are held;
• competition program - is a table containing a list of competition programs such as under 3 years old, under 5 years old, and others;

6. error control:

• animals over 20 years of age - is a table that contains a list of animals over 20 years of age that do not have an elimination date and do not have an elimination use group, pedigree or fall; the table allows you to edit table entries, but not add new ones.
• removing duplicates in pedigree use - presents a table with a list of duplicate entries in pedigree use, presents an option to remove duplicate entries manually or leave it to the program.
• lines/families - presents a table showing the lines and families of the animal and its parents, allows you to manually change the line and family of the animal or to set the lines and families of the parents automatically;

7. about the program:

• updates - presents an interface that checks for updates and allows you to update the software;
• program version - provides brief information about the program version.
