Tallinn University of Health Sciences is an internationally recognised national higher education institution providing training in health and wellbeing. Its mission is to train innovative and critically thinking health professionals with technological competences. The Tallinn School of Health offers seven vocational, eight postgraduate and one master's degree programmes. In addition, it offers a range of continuing education and training courses for professionals with and without a health education. The Tallinn School of Public Health is committed to providing services to society, and as such, it offers activities aimed at the general public of all ages, based on its competences. The college has a structure in Kohtla-Järve and also provides education in other regional units (e.g. Pärnu, Kuressaare, etc.).
Health is the backbone of the population, and we are increasingly aware of the importance of having a sufficient supply of specialists to care for our health and recovery when needed. Health will stay with us forever and as a graduate of a health curriculum you will secure a job for life!
Who is welcome to learn?
Tallinn Health Care College is particularly open to young men, women, men and women of all ages with at least secondary education. Remember that it's never too late to study with us, and you can apply even years after graduating from high school or another institution of higher education! In addition, it is important to have a high motivation to learn and a strong desire to contribute to the functioning of the healthcare system by working in the field of healthcare across Estonia after graduation.
How is the reception?
Tallinn Health Care College offers seven vocational, eight postgraduate and one master's degree programmes. The results of the upper secondary school state examinations are not taken into account for admission. The average marks of the applicants' upper secondary school leaving certificates in certain subjects will be taken into account, as well as the results of the entrance test/examination and the entrance interview, which will assess, for example, the candidate's functional reading skills, spelling skills, professional motivation, study readiness and communication skills. Completion of elective courses at Tallinn Health Care College for upper secondary school students also gives extra points in the admission process. The next admission will take place from 13 to 30 June 2022 for higher education and from 18 July to 4 August 2022 for vocational training

How does learning happen?
Learning to become a health professional is largely done through a variety of practical activities. For practical training, Tallinn Health Care College has a high-tech simulation centre, which allows students to act out and analyse different real-life situations. All this makes learning to become a health professional immensely rewarding and exciting! In addition, all the curricula at Tallinn Health School are internationalised, so our students have a great opportunity to do their internships abroad.
