Welcome!
What Will the Tuulelohe Flight 2027 Bring?
Three weeks before the Riigikogu elections, we ask: What will get the Estonian economy soaring again?
Estonia’s economic productivity must reach at least 110% of the European average, because our well-being depends on it. Funding for teachers’ salaries, shorter healthcare waitlists, and national defense can only come from a growing economy.
In recent years, however, we have drifted far from that goal. To get there, the economy must grow twice as fast as it does now. This requires economic policies that are just as bold, radical, and pragmatic as those of the 1990s, because fine-tuning alone won’t get us there.
On February 17, “Tuulelohe lend” will bring Estonia’s most influential entrepreneurs, top international executives, and prime ministerial candidates together on one stage.
We’ll discuss confidence, investments, exports, innovation, and leadership, and we’ll find out whether politicians’ plans and entrepreneurs’ expectations are aligned.
“A kite rises against the wind, but only if someone dares to pull the string.”
